Leadership

United Council President - Josh Mann

Josh Mann was raised in New Berlin, WI and has lived there all his life. Josh went to Brookfield Central high school and graduated in 2005. He attended UW Waukesha and is currently attending UW Milwaukee. After his first semester of college, Josh ran for student government and was elected a senator. After a semester of hard work he ran for Vice-President of student government. As Vice-President, Josh took part in the statewide 2006 "Get out the Vote" campaign. At UW-Waukesha, the vote campaign was very successful in reaching for their goal of 400 students. Josh strongly believes that "Education is a right, not a privilege!" He has been an active member of United Council for over a year and now continues to further the efforts of the student body on a statewide level. Since the summer of 2006, Josh has attended Board of Regents meetings to keep up on active issues, as well as the Waukesha/Milwaukee merger issue. Josh is majoring in Political Science with the intent to minor in Law. Not exactly sure what he wants to do with his major, he loves working with students and legislators on important issues that are affecting students statewide.
