Friday, October 3rd 2008:
5:00 - 6:00 PM Arrival, Registration, and Networking
Delegations Arrive and register, pick up materials for the weekend, and network with other schools’ delegations. Small snack provided
6:00 - 6:30 PM Delegation Leader Briefing
Student Leadership and the Executive Director will meet with Delegation Leaders from each campus to explain how the General Assembly Weekend is set up, touch base on standing policies for General Assemblies, Talk about goals and expectations for the weekend, and answer any questions, comments, or concerns that anyone has
6:30 - 7:00 PM Opening Remarks
Student Leadership along with Regent Colleene Thomas will welcome all delegations to the General Assembly, introduce the Board of Directors and United Council’s staff members.
7:00 - 8:30 PM Chapter 17 Update & Discussion
This will be a whole general assembly discussion with presentations on what has happened so far, where we are at now, and where we are going.
8:30 - ? Socializing & Networking @ Hotel
This is an opportunity for delegations to get to know each other, work on resolutions for the Sunday General Assembly, etc. There can also be games of MAFIA in the works...
9:30 - ? Board of Directors Meeting @ Hotel
Saturday, October 4th 2008:
7:00 - 9:00 AM Continental Breakfast @ Hotel
9 AM - 1 PM Committee Meetings
Delegates attend one of seven committee meetings. In accordance with our governing documents, in order for delegations to receive all votes at the Sunday General Assembly, campuses must make sure to have at least one delegate at each committee meeting before sending multiple delegates from their campus to the same committee. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please inquire with student leadership
1:00 - 2:00 PM Lunch (provided)
2:00- 3:30 PM Focus Groups
Here there will be designated break out groups for all participants in the General Assembly to have a focused discussion on our organization’s Vision and Mission
3:30 - 4:30 PM BREAK
This time is provided to take a rest, finish any committee or floor resolutions for the Sunday General Assembly. Please stay close to campus so that everyone is ready for the next session
4:30 PM All Resolutions Due!!
Make sure you get them to Finance and Development Director Breianna Hasenzahl-Reeder (in her hands or, preferably, to finance@unitedcouncil.net)
4:30 - 5:30 PM Vote 2008! Campus Updates
A member of each delegation (point person on vote if possible) will address the General Assembly to give a brief update on how the Vote 2008 campaign is going on their campuses, what they’re looking forward to, and what, if anything, UC staff can do to help ou
5:30 - 7:00 PM Dinner on your own
7:00 - 8:00 PM Delegation Meetings @ Hotel
Here, each campus will hold a delegation meeting facilitated by the delegation leaders, to discuss what happened in everyone’s committee, what resolutions will be on the agenda, they will have a chance to look over the Sunday GA Agenda and Last GA’s minutes. Student Leadership and Board Members will be visiting the delegation meetings throughout this time

Sunday, October 5th 2008:
7:00 - 9:30 AM Continental Breakfast @ Hotel
9:30- 9:45 AM Delegation Leader Meeting and Check In
Delegation Leaders will meet with Student Leadership and the Executive Director to go through credentials of delegations and any other orders of business in preparation for the General Assembly
10:00 AM General Assembly is called to order
1:00- 2:00 PM Lunch Break (Lunch Provided)
2:00 PM - - ? General Assembly continues....
