Dear UW Students,

My name is Chris Daniels and I am excited to be the new LGBTQ Issues Director for United Council. Orginally from just outside of Detroit, Michigan, I moved to Madison four years ago. I went to school at UW-Madison where I received a B.A. in Psychology with Women's Studies and LGBT Studies certificates. I was actively involved with many students organizations on campus focsing on queer issues, sex positivity and sexual health, and academic advising.

Attached is the application to attend the United States Student Associations' Annual Congress in Madison, WI.

There is going to be an UBER fabulous training given by UC February 29th- March 1st in conjunction with the QPOC Summit!!!

Topics include:

• sexism
• racism
• heterosexism
• fat-phobia
• homophobia
• trans-phobia
• bi-phobia
• able-ism

We are proposing the following:
adding:
Planning the LGBTQ Summit in conjunction with a student committee
Actively engaging allies

Any other changes would be great!!
