Welcome from New Gender and Women's Issues Director

My name is Kelley Schacht and I am honored to be joining United Council as the new Gender and Women's Issues Director. I just graduated from Michigan State University after growing up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, a suburb north of Milwaukee. At MSU, I majored in Interdisciplinary Humanities specializing in English, Anthropology and Women's Studies, and I served as a leader of the feminist and reproductive rights student organizations. I'm very excited to start working with United Council and all UW students.
